Blac Chyna motioned for Rob Kardashian’s 2017 lawsuit against her to be thrown out by the court, a new report from People revealed. Court documents obtained by the outlet describe Chyna as saying that because she never meant to inflict harm, and because she never injured him, Rob’s suit was without merit.
Back in 2017, Kylie Jenner and the 32-year-old Kardashian filed the suit, accusing Chyna of trying to choke him with an iPhone cord during a fight they had in December of that year. The fight was in Kylie’s home. Additionally, Jenner accused Chyna of inflicting massive damage on the house, around $100,000.
As part of her motion to dismiss the suit, Chyna submitted a document showing evidence that Kardashian was never hurt in the interaction. Furthermore, the documents claim that the only harm to Kardashian was his “heartbreak” that she was moving out of the house with Dream.
In the following March of 2018, Jenner dropped her suit against Chyna, Chyna and her lawyers claimed. Additionally, the motion to dismiss the suit claims Chyna was just joking around and was acting like her normal “colorful” self on the night of the altercation.
In a statement to Entertainment Tonight, Chyna admitted that she and her legal team filed the motion to dismiss the lawsuit against her, filed by Rob Kardashian. At the moment, Chyna has two more court cases against the Kardashian family.
Followers of the dispute know that Chyna’s revenge porn case against Mr. Kardashian is slated to begin in May of 2020. Marty Singer, Rob’s attorney-at-law, released his own statement on Rob’s behalf, stating that the suit against Rob was “without merit.”
The dispute between Rob and Chyna has continued to stay messy, including their court battle over Dream. Rob has tried to get primary physical custody of their 3-year-old child. Previously, Kardashian accused Chyna of being out of control, including her alleged alcohol habit.
TMZ claims Rob and his team also allege that Chyna’s party-lifestyle has led to Dream acting more aggressively. Rob is seeking to have her parenting time restricted to the weekends.
